Peter Furin, 70, of Big Prairie, died Thursday, May 10, 2012 at his residence with his family by his side.
Private services will be held at the Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster with Pastor Thomas Michaels officiating. Burial will be at Nashville Cemetery. Pete was born September 24, 1941 in Berea to Joseph and Eva {Brazie} Furin.
He married Sandy Waterbury on September 30, 1958.
He was a truck driver for Darling Inc. in Cleveland. He was a member of the Gold Miners Association, Bird Club, and the Moose Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and hunting for treasures with his metal detector.
Pete will be deeply missed by his wife Sandy, son Shawn (Angela) Furin of Big Prairie, daughter Deborah Miller & Tina Furin both of Medina, Tracy (Nevardo) Reinoso of Independence; grandchildren Jason, Aaron, Tyler, Cory, Angelo, Dominic, and Gabriella; great-granddaughter Madalyn Graf
; brothers Joseph and David; sisters Deloris Head and Doris Barr.
Peter was preceded in death by an infant brother Richard.
