Ralph Schamp

Ralph L. Schamp, 82, of Wooster, died Sunday, November 22, 2009, at his residence. There will be no services.Online tribute may be made at www.robertsfuneralhome.com . Memorial contributions may be made to Village Network, PO Box 518, Smithville, OH 44691.



Ralph was born May 2, 1927, in Cleveland to Lawrence F. and Alice (Barrow) Schamp.



Ralph served in the US Navy during WWII. He married Helen Broadsword on December 5, 1946. He worked for General Motors for 34 years, retiring in 1981. He enjoyed Harley Davidson Motorcycles, car shows, woodworking, chip carving, gardening, and reading.



Ralph will be deeply missed by his daughters Cathy Hodkinson of Mineral City and Claudia (Jim) Love of Medina; grandchildren: Matthew Hodkinson and Lori (Dustin) Correll and great-grandchild Taylor Correll: sister Virginia Davis of Grapevine, TX.



Ralph was preceded in death by his wife.
