Carolyn “Jean” {Dargie} Becker, 71, of Wooster, died Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at West View Manor, in Wooster.
Services will be Friday at 2 pm at the Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster with Pastor Eric Fairhurst officiating.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.

Jean was born July 31, 1940 in Moline, IL.
She married Stanley Becker on November 19, 1974. He died in 2010.
Jean was a private nurse.
She was a member of the West Hill Baptist Church, American Legion in Wooster and Apple Creek, Lamplighters Auxiliary, Red Hat Women Out, West View Manor Auxiliary, and the Wayne County Care Center Auxiliary.
Survivors include children Mechelle Carpenter, Forrest Stanley John Messner; and several grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Jean was preceded in death by sons David Scott Sommers and John Wayne Middaugh.
The family would like to thank Hospice and Palliative Care of Greater Wayne County for their loving care of Jean.
