Freda Morrison

Freda Mae Morrison, 84 of Wadsworth passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at Altercare of Wadsworth. She was born July 27, 1927 in Barberton, Ohio to Henry Fred and Arminta Bell (Snyder) Kramer. Freda married John Morrison on March 11, 1946 and he preceded her on May 11, 1999. She retired from Wadsworth-Rittman Hospital in 1999, was a member of Mt. Zwingli United Church of Christ. Freda enjoyed playing cards, bingo, traveling to Las Vegas and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Freda will be deeply missed by son John Jr. (Chris) Morrison of Wadsworth, daughters Judy of Wadsworth, Sherry (Don) Takak of Wylie, TX. , Marilyn (Don) Williams of Wadsworth. Nine grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, sisters Elda Putt, Erlene Prager, Ethel Thompson, Norma Wheeland, Glory Sheller, and Joan Labo. Her husband John Morrison, Sr, a son, Bradley Morrison and brother Clyde Kramer preceded her in death.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at 12:00 pm. at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel in Seville with Pastor Keith Hejnel officiating. Friends may call Wednesday at the funeral home from 10 am-12 pm. Burial will follow immediately after the service at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
