Michael D. Crawford, 42, of Rittman, died Monday November 20, 2006 at Akron Children's Hospital Burn Unit. ?A Celebration of Life will be Saturday at 11:00am

at the Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel with ?Rev. ?Kevin Phipps officiating. ?Friends may call Friday from 6-8pm at the funeral home. ?Online tributes may be made at www.robertsfuneralhome.com. ?

He was born July 14, 1964 in Wooster to Cecil and Luena (Taylor) Crawford. ?He married Belinda Tucker on November 2, 2003. ?She survives.

He worked in the plastic industry for over 12 years. ?He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his children, fishing, music, watching football, watching Adam Sandler movies, building model cars, collecting wolf memorabilia.

In addition to his wife are children Megan Crawford of Smithville and Chaz Crawford of Canaan Center, step-children Jared Resecker of Rittman, Jessie Dawson of Smithville, Nick Adkins of Creston and Dustin Adkins of Rittman, his father and mother Cecil and Brenda Crawford of Apple Creek, step-father Jim Sturgill of Georgia, father-in-law Lowell Tucker of Rittman and mother-in-law Lois Tucker of Rittman a brother Doug (Lisa) Crawford of Wooster, sister Gale Shell of Wooster, his dachshund Dude and numerous nieces and nephews. ?In addition to his mother, a brother Wayne Crawford, a brother-in-law Jerry Shell, grandmothers Reba Rastettler and Lois Taylor died previously.
