Myrna Shaffer, 65, of Shreve, died Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at Akron General Hospital.
Services will be Friday at 11am at the Roberts Funeral Home - Sherwood Chapel, Wooster with the Rev. Wayne Giesler officiating. ?Burial will be at Reedsburg Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. ?Online tributes may be made at ?www.robertsfuneralhome.com.
She was born January 10, 1942 in New Kensington, PA to George "Slim" and Elizabeth Marie (Zippler) Jernigan. ?She married Richard Shaffer on June 15, 1971. He died January 15, 2000. ?Myrna was a nurse's aide and a member of Concordia Lutheran Church. ?She enjoyed reading and her dogs.
Survivors include sister-in-law Marjorie Jones, nephew Daniel Jones and close friends Diane Fought, Mona Jean Hamilton, Barbara Felt, Linda Fleger, Mr. & Mrs. Paul Olberter, David & Tootie Hahn and Donna Kramer.
She is preceded in death by a brother-in-law Phillip Shaffer.
