Ronald Dean Rutt, 63, of Apple Creek, died Thursday March 1 , 2012 at Akron City Hospital.
Friends may call Sunday from 4 to 5 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 5 at the funeral home with Pastor Eric Fairhurst officiating.
Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.

Ron was born June 13, 1948 in Wooster to Marvin and Betty {Martin} Rutt.
He graduated Wooster High School in 1967 and married Susie Dye on April 11, 1987. Ron retired from Akron Brass, working there for 35 years. He also worked for Walmart for 7 years. He enjoyed golfing, softball and bowling. He loved watching movies and college football especially the Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Indians.
Ron will be deeply missed by his wife, family and friends.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Bob, Ken and Gary Rutt and special friends Mac and Daisy.
