Virginia Eby
February 24, 1927 — December 10, 2011
Virginia Eby, 84, of Wooster, died Saturday, December 10, 2011 at her home with her family by her side.
Services will be Tuesday at 2:00 pm at the Roberts Funeral Home – Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Wooster. Virginia was born February 24, 1927 in Dayton to Luther and Esther {Shell} Brown.
She married Robert Eby on March 18, 1950. He survives.
Virginia was manager for Singer Sewing and manager of the A.T.I. bookstore. Following her time at ATI, Virginia was a sales rep for Avon for 30 years. She was a member of the Church of the Cross United Methodist Church and enjoyed sewing, quilting, and collecting dolls.
Virginia will be deeply missed by her husband Bob of 61 years; children Steve Eby of Wooster, Connie (Pete) Van Buren of Ann Arbor, MI, and Becky Maloney of Charlotte, NC; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sister Martha Musselman of Indiana.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, son Gary Eby, brother Charles Brown, granddaughter Colette Swartz, and sister Kathleen Gustin.
