William Carmany

William “Bill” R. Carmany, 85, of Wadsworth, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2011 at his residence in Wadsworth. He was born on April 21, 1926 in Manchester, Ohio to Harry and Elizabeth (Gray) Carmany. Bill served in the Unites States Army During WWII and he married Loretta Turley on November 19, 1953. Bill was in construction work and retired from the City of Wadsworth in 1981. He collected antique engines and enjoyed having the children and grandchildren over.



Bill will be deeply missed by his wife of 57 years, Loretta, children Richard William (Cecilia) Carmany of Granger and Daniel James (Lisa) Carmany of Taylorsville, KY. grandchildren Dana (Stacy) Carmany of Taylorsville, Ky., Jennifer Carmany of Mt. Eaden, Ky., three great-grandchildren, brothers Bruce (Janet) Carmany of Portage Lakes, Harry (Helene) Carmany of Manchester, and sister Jane (Wayne) Hudkins of Mogadore. Bill was preceded in death by his parents and brothers John and Robert Carmany.



Private family viewing will be held at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel in Seville. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Online tributes may be made at www.robertsfuneralhome.com .
