Carol Daugherty

Carol Lynn Daugherty, 73, of Canton, formerly of Wadsworth, died Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital in Canton. Carol was born December 27, 1948, in Wadsworth, Ohio to Floyd Charles and Eveline {Hughes} Graff.  She married Richard Daugherty, husband of thirty-five years, in 1978.  He died in 2013.

Carol was a 1967 graduate of Wadsworth High School and attended Kent State University.  She previously attended Bethel Mennonite Church, Rittman. Carol waitressed at Cleckner’s Restaurant, Wadsworth and Stouffer’s Restaurant, Fairlawn. Carol was and accomplished seamstress, horsewoman, member of River Styx Saddle Club and Wadsworth 4-H Club.

Carol will be deeply missed by her siblings, Deborah McFarland (John) of Dalton, Shielah Raines of Akron and Charles Graff of Wadsworth. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd Charles and Eveline (Hughes) Graff.

Private services were held. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery in Wadsworth. Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, Seville is handling arrangements.
