Mausoleum Flower Regulations

Permanent Decorations

  • All permanent decorations (more than 30 days) must be kept in the cemetery supplied bronze vases and may not intrude on other crypt fronts.

Temporary Decorations

  • Any temporary decorations (1 to 30 days) will be allowed on cemetery supplied tables only. Any decorations left over 30 days will be removed by the cemetery.
  • Tables, stands or other devices will not be allowed and will also be removed by the cemetery.
  • Please do not bring decorations that require electrical power. The outlets are not for public use.

All Decorations

  • These regulations have been in effect since 1995 and will be strictly enforced by the cemetery for the overall serenity of the mausoleum.
  • The cemetery reserves the right to modify these regulations and will provide ample notice of any such changes.

Bronze Memorial Care & Cleaning

Your bronze memorial is protected by a durable Krylon Tough Coat protective coating. It was formulated for bronze surfaces to guard against industrial and environmental pollutants.

While all bronze memorials will patina over time, you can help prolong the finish on your memorial with proper care.

Water and a mild soap are sufficient for cleaning your memorial.

Do not use abrasive cleaners, strong penetrating chemicals, or solvents on your memorial. Oil and wax coatings are not needed and have limited protective qualities.

Bronze is the perfect choice for your memorial because it is a metal whose beauty not only last through the ages but evolves from the sheen of newly polished cast metal to a warm patina.

This process, called the aging of bronze, is what makes bronze such a unique, enduring and appreciated metal. In fact, bronze has been chosen for great works of art because artists know the beauty of their creations will be enhanced as the bronze transforms.

Over time, the surface color of bronze changes from golden to light brown to darker tones before acquiring the ultimate greenish cast—sometimes called verdigris. This is the result of bronze being exposed to the natural elements.

Because the aging process takes time and depends on many special conditions, a permanent patina may require years to develop. When it does occur, the patina itself is a natural protective covering. This sets bronze apart from other metals that under the same exposure would waste away.

Perpetual Care

  1. Your cemetery is perpetual – it will always be in business.
  2. Your cemetery has trained advisors who are familiar with your lot and it’s requirements.
  3. Your cemetery purchases your memorial direct from the manufacturer – there is no middleman.
  4. Your cemetery will be sure that only the very best material is used in your memorial because it too must be concerned with the appearance and upkeep of the park.
  5. Your cemetery knows you. You have dealt with these people either before or during your time of loss.
  6. Your cemetery uses the additional income from your memorial purchase to put into continued beautification of the park.
  7. Your cemetery has crews which are trained to efficiently handle your memorial placement. Your cemetery is responsible if there is any damage in erection of monuments purchased throughout the cemetery.
  8. Your cemetery handles your future needs directly through it’s own office.
  9. Your cemetery has assumed the responsibilities of caring for your loved one’s grave. It is only natural that you should place your memorial under the same care and attention the resting place requires.
